Akinyemi Akisanmi also known as Yemi Rush was born into Akisanmi family in Lagos Nigeria on the 20th of September.
He was partially raised in Lagos where he realised his love for music
at a tender age while he was a part of the choir. Yemi rush then
migrated to England for studies of which he studied Media studies at
university of east London.
Yemi
Rush is an afro-beat singer, genre in AfroPoP, a producer and a
songwriter signed to UNG MUSIC. He mixes Afro-beat with an urban sound,
as well as being an excellent vocalist, over the month he has gained
recognitions for good music and still working very hard to keep that
reputation intact .
Following
from the release of his Last Hit Single and captivating Video “Stay
With me” which quickly went on to become a viral success, ladies anthem
and fan favourites in their own right, Yemi Rush prepares to drop his
new single “Sexy Lady” featuring the ever Prolific and indegenious
Nigerian Rapper Reminince which drops on the 1st of May.
“Sexy
Lady” is a rebrand of one of Yemi Rush’s previously released single
“ELLE”, which takes that love Road route to greatness. “Sexy lady” is an
excellent tune which takes things up several notches with its
infectious melody, a commanding vocal performance, excellent
musicianship and catchy wordplay. Al so backed up by incredible drum
patterns and lush synths and keyboard arrangements.
This
New Single is Definitely going to lay a very credible onslaught on
mainstream Radio stations all across Nigeria, UK and the USA this Spring
/ summer.
